Pioneer Valley is a non-profit organization, governed by a Board of Trustees, in accordance with the by-laws.
The Board of Trustees meets monthly.

Angie Rios, President
Angie is a native of Holyoke, MA and has resided in Springfield since 1999. She resides with her husband, daughter and two dogs. Angie’s daughter attends PVMS and has excelled in such a warm educational environment.
Angie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Western New College and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
Angie is a Project Management, Director at MassMutual Financial Group. She has over 15 years of customer service experience.
She is actively engaged in Diversity and Inclusive within her company and has served on the leadership team for the Hispanic Employee Resource Group ALMMA (Association of Latinos at MassMutual and Allies).
Dr. Keisha Jones, Vice President
Dr Jones earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her internship and residency and Yale New Haven Hospital. She completed fellowship training in pelvic reconstructive surgery at Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh as well as a Masters in Clinical Research and Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh. She has been practicing at Baystate Medical center for over ten years and is currently an Associate Professor and Chief Of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery.
Daniel Conroy, Clerk
Daniel became involved with PVMS in early 2015 as the parent of an incoming third grader and subsequently joined the board in 2017. His son graduated from Upper Elementary in May 2019.
Daniel has an undergraduate degree from Fairfield University with a graduate degree in Technology Management from New York University. He currently serves as the Chief Digital Officer for a global corporate and life sciences events provider.
Eric Devine, Treasurer
John is the Vice President of Product Development at Rediker Software, a local software company with a global reach, which provides information technology solutions in the K-12 space. John joined the PVMS Board of Trustees in 2008.
"I have 17 years of technical, business and education-provider experience gained from collaborating with schools of all kinds, as well with many state departments of education and other vendors. I hope this experience combined with my enthusiasm for the Montessori method help shape my perspective and contribution as a member of the Board of Trustees."
John's son flourished at PVMS. He enrolled as a 3-year old in 2005 and graduated from the 6th Grade in 2014.
Serving on the Board Serving on the PVMS Board of Trustees or on one of its various committees is a great way to offer your professional expertise,experience, and time to PVMS. The Board has an ongoing need to attract potential Trustees from within and outside the PVMS community,who have experience or expertise in the following areas: Law, Finance, Education, Development/Fundraising, Contracting/Architecture, Administration/Organization, and Community Connection.
