Toddler

18 months - 2 years, 9 months

This class provides a safe, caring and academically stimulating environment for toddlers.  

• They are exposed to activities that focus on fine and gross motor skills, speech and language development, sorting and classification, and early mathematics.

• Real-life activities, using child-sized materials (such as plates, glasses, silverware, broom, sink, etc.) foster the toddlers’ emerging independence. This includes self-care such as washing their hands, hanging up clothing, managing personal items and toileting.

• Art, music, dance and drama activities are integrated into the classroom curriculum. There is plenty of outdoor playtime daily, as the weather allows.

The program follows our school-year schedule, which means we have the same vacation weeks and days off of a traditional school (December, February and April).
