Grandparents/Grandfriends Day

This annual event welcomes grandparents (or honorary grand friends) to PVMS classrooms. Each student may bring up to two visitors per slot due to space constraints. Guests can arrive early for a reception with coffee and pastries. It's a half-day of school, and we encourage grandparents to take their grandchildren home if possible. Make sure grandparents are on the pickup list or fill out this form. Even students who don't attend Fridays can join with a grandparent, following the chosen time slot. This event is for all classes

Financial Aid Open for the 24-25 school year

Please apply for financial Aid as soon as possible to make sure all paperwork is processed in full by the February 6th deadline so that your application can be considered for award.

HOW TO APPLY

You must apply for Financial Aid through the FACTS Tuition Management System (FACTS). You create an account, and FACTS will charge you a $40 fee. We use FACTS to handle all personal financial information.

1.) Visit https://factsmgt.com
2.) Click: Parent Login > Payment Portal/Financial Aid
3.) You can then either create an account if you do not have one, or sign in to begin application process.

HOW AID IS DETERMINED

Financial Aid is based on the amount of your tuition compared to your income. Our Financial Aid Committee takes the charts created by FACTS and reviews the percentages. A tuition-to-household income ratio of 20% or higher is taken into consideration. They will factor in other elements if your tax information doesn't accurately outline your current circumstances. There is also an appeal process.

Parent Conferences

Parent Conferences

no school for students as we will be holding our first round of Parent Conferences of the year.  They are scheduled through the parent portal and are held virtually through google meet.

We have found that keeping our conferences virtual allows for the teachers to move more efficiently through the conferences and allows the parents to attend with less of a disruption to their day.  We have even had parents able to attend while away on business trips.

Due to limited time and space, there are only enough spots for each child to have one conference appointment.

To sign up for your child's conference:

  • Log into the parent portal

  • Click on the continue enrollment process.

  • You will see a new checklist item, Parent/Teacher Conference, click on the schedule appointment button

  • Choose your time and save.

After scheduling, you will receive an email with the link to the meeting as well as confirmation of your scheduled date and time.  Below the meeting information, you will see a link to the conference planning form.  Please fill this out in preparation for the meeting.

Please call the office if you are having any difficulty scheduling your appointment.

Classroom Share Night

Please join us to see the work your children are doing in class first-hand!

During Share Nights, families have the opportunity to see the classroom, materials, and routines that make up their child's school day.  Your child will guide you through their favorite areas and materials, which will allow you to get a better sense of what they are working on and to see the Montessori materials in action.  They are usually quite proud to show you their work!

Each child is only allotted one time slot for the evening.
