Toddler
18 months - 2 years, 9 months
This class provides a safe, caring and academically stimulating environment for toddlers.
They are exposed to activities that focus on fine and gross motor skills, speech and language development, sorting and classification, and early mathematics.
Real-life activities, using child-sized materials (such as plates, glasses, silverware, broom, sink, etc.) foster the toddlers’ emerging independence. This includes self-care such as washing their hands, hanging up clothing, managing personal items and toileting.
Art, music, dance and drama activities are integrated into the classroom curriculum. There is plenty of outdoor playtime daily, as the weather allows.
The program follows our school-year schedule, which means we have the same vacation weeks and days off of a traditional school (December, February and April).
