Each year, we collect child-size hats, underwear, gloves and socks for a local homeless shelter. Join us in spreading HUGS and warmth just in time for the winter season.

What?

The shelter only will accept new items. There is a need for items only in sizes for children birth – age 14:

• Hats

• Underwear

• Gloves (and mittens)

• Socks (and scarves)

 Why?

The nature of Montessori education is learning by doing. So, we do things for our community as well to help make a difference. The items we collect will be donated to a local homeless shelter.

How?

Please send in your items with your child, in a bag marked “HUGS.” You can also drop off the items in the school office.

Please remember, the shelter can only accept NEW items.
