Native American Heritage Day
-November 29-
During November, in honor of Native American Heritage Month, we have been proud to celebrate the rich history and cultural contributions of Native American communities.
One of our very own students, along with her family, had the special opportunity to attend a flag-raising ceremony in recognition of Native American Heritage Day, where their family played a special role by sharing their voices and speaking to the significance of this important observance.
The ceremony serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing legacy and strength of Indigenous People. We’re grateful to the city of Springfield for uplifting Native American cultures, past and present.
