Upper Elementary Parent

Good afternoon, Jessi and Erin, hope this finds you well! I thought you would like to see the photo of Stirling and his English teacher this year at the middle school closing ceremonies. Stirling received the 6th grade English award- the top student in English in his grade. His teacher this year was wonderful, but this credit also goes to the two of you for all of the support and assistance you gave him in 4th and 5th grade working on testing him and improving his reading and confidence in English. Thank you so much!! And just as an FYI, lots of Montessori alums were honored with awards at the WMA closing ceremonies- the education you provide is so wonderful and is serving these kids well. Stirling had straight As for the year. We miss you and hope you have had a great year as well.

All the best,
Tiffany

Children’s House & Elementary Family

We are confident that PVMS has been the right decision for our family for the past 3 years in providing the foundation for an enthusiasm for learning and exploring, the time for developing mastery and infusing a desire to push to the next level, conceptual basis for mathematics, time and space for engagement in hand crafts as skill development and self-confidence builders, fostering healthy peer relationship opportunities, self-guided learning, cooperative planning and project management, and the worldly perspectives of inclusion and kindness (for self and others) embraced by Montessori.

Elementary Parent

As a parent, I am absolutely pleased and satisfied with PVMS. My daughter started her second year at PVMS this fall and she loves it. Not only does she love her school but her growth in the past year academically and working with others is outstanding. The school, the teachers and the atmosphere are exceptional. When my husband and I were looking for a school we stumbled upon PVMS and couldn't be more happier with our decision. The hands on and ability for your child to find their way around the classroom and learn to grow is what makes this school a gem! I encourage any parent looking for a greater education in a culture that fosters and supports your child to grow, to consider PVMS. When we took the tour we knew instantly that this is where we wanted our daughter to start her education and again are very pleased with our decision!

Toddler and up Family

As a parent of two children who began their educational journey in the Toddler Program at PVMS, I am continually impressed by the school's exceptional approach to learning. The dedicated teachers here have a genuine passion for educating and nurturing young minds, fostering a deep-rooted love for learning that is both inspiring and impactful.

The Montessori method is brilliantly executed, with the individualized approach instrumental in developing their independence and self-confidence. The classrooms are inviting and well-equipped, providing the perfect setting for hands-on learning and intellectual curiosity.

Beyond academics, the focus on social and emotional growth is evident and much appreciated. My children have developed into knowledgeable, empathetic, and responsible individuals under the school's guidance.

I highly recommend this school for its holistic approach to education and nurturing environment, which create a foundation for lifelong learning and personal growth.

Children’s House Parent

We joined the PVMS community looking for a safe and enriching environment for our son. We found that and more. The community is warm and welcoming, represents all different backgrounds and the adults truly care for the students. The Montessori approach doesn't even compare to a public school and the investment is well worth the rewards. Our son chooses the work he's interested in - it's not cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all learning. Parents are engaged and the staff and board are moving the school forward. We are so happy to be apart of the community.
